If you are involved with QS-9000, you know all about the predictive
maintenance requirement for equipment. Our IT Architects build in this type of support. If a piece of equipment is designated as production equipment, its status is available
for driving ERP and Shop Floor schedules. It can schedule maintenance based on time,
hours, cycles, or any combination of the three. It can read cycles
and/or hours from
production reporting or directly from your machinery.
Shop floor systems also pulls information from this area to determine the
machine category to properly format setup information. The
current operational status of the equipment is available on Production
Planning screens as well as the scheduling for the shop floor system. |
